Glenn Taylor, MS, ACC
I'm a coach, consultant, speaker, writer and podcaster, devoted to bringing out the best in others. As President/Founder of Skybound Coaching & Consulting, I help leaders, entrepreneurs and organizations dare to fly higher — to elevate their performance by taking courageous action.
I partner with clients to take their leadership, career, business or team to the next level. I bring a sense of creativity, authenticity and focus to my work, helping clients explore new possibilities while getting concrete results.
As part of my work leading Skybound Coaching & Consulting, I host the “Dare to Fly Higher Podcast” and create content for the GoSkybound.com blog, YouTube Channel, online courses, and Forbes.com. I specialize in the areas of leadership development, emotional intelligence, career advancement, personal branding, team effectiveness, business growth, and communications.
I grew up loving music, dance, art and magic, captivated by the power of creativity and live performance. When I started my career in marketing at one of the country’s top symphony orchestras, I didn’t know I would end up developing a passion for helping others to perform — not in the arts, but as leaders and teams.
After a successful 11-year tenure at the Houston Symphony, during which I advanced from Marketing Assistant to Chief Marketing Officer, I decided to turn my experiences in marketing, leadership, management and team culture into a career of teaching and training others.
In addition to earning my Masters of Science in Organization Development and Leadership, I completed coach certification through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and credentialing through the International Coach Federation (ICF). I’m an executive coach for Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, a leadership coach and trainer with Rice University’s Doerr Institute for New Leaders, and an Adjunct Professor at University of Houston. I serve on the board of the International Coach Federation, Houston Chapter.
I am also an accomplished jazz pianist, and enjoy performing in a trio or combo around the Houston area. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering, running, swing dancing and performing an occasional magic trick.
